Job Title: Field Application Engineer (FAE) Electronic Components

Position Overview:
As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will serve as the technical bridge between our product lines and customer design teams. You will drive demand creation by providing design-in support, technical consultation, and strategic guidance for a broad range of electronic components.
Your role is pivotal in influencing design decisions, accelerating project timelines, and enhancing the bill of materials (BOM) conversion rate. You'll work closely with OEMs, EMS providers, and R&D teams to introduce cutting-edge technologies, support prototyping, and ensure smooth transition to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Consultation: Engage with customer engineering teams to understand application requirements and propose appropriate component solutions.
Design-In Support: Guide customers in component selection, reference designs, evaluation boards, and integration best practices.
Demand Creation: Collaborate with sales teams to identify and convert design opportunities into revenue through BOM wins.
Application Engineering: Troubleshoot customer design challenges and provide root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and component recommendations.
Ecosystem Coordination: Interface with suppliers, internal product managers, and sourcing teams to align product offerings with customer requirements.
Training & Enablement: Conduct regular technical training, workshops, and webinars for customers and internal teams.
Technical Documentation: Support customers with datasheets, application notes, reference designs, and design kits.
Project Tracking: Maintain accurate records of customer projects and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
Innovation Advocacy: Promote adoption of new technologies and industry trends like IoT, EV, Power Electronics, and Embedded Systems.
