Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fiber Optic Splicer located in Hyderabad. The Fiber Optic Splicer will be responsible for tasks such as installing, splicing, testing, and maintaining fiber optic cables. Daily responsibilities include working with structured cabling systems, ensuring proper connections, and troubleshooting issues related to fiber optic networks. The Fiber Optic Splicer will also need to work with various hand tools and ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cables and Cabling techniques
- Understanding of Electricity and its applications in fiber optics
- Proficiency with Hand Tools used in fiber optic splicing
- Experience with Structured Cabling systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Relevant certifications in fiber optics and structured cabling are a plus
