Job Title: Engineering Manager Public Cloud (GTE/CLD/PCL Team)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Feature Engineering Manager experience ranging between 12-18 years, to lead our public cloud foundations team, driving innovation and operational excellence across AWS and Azure environments/products. This role involves managing a feature team or multiple components across teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of cloud-based solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Delivery
- Manage a complete feature team or multiple components across teams.
- Oversee application/project delivery with medium to high criticality.
- Ensure timely and quality project delivery by managing team performance and priorities.
- Coach teams to adhere to clear constraints in delivery plans.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with Product Owners and key business stakeholders.
- Provide product vision and strategic direction to the team.
- Operational Excellence
- Drive budget and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Contribute to Service Platform-level OKRs and collaborate with other feature teams.
- Continuous Improvement
- Promote best practices in cloud engineering, DevOps, and automation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Requirements
- Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, GitHub Actions, monitoring tools).
- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
Qualifications
- Preferred Certifications: SAFe or equivalent.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, analyzing budget, time, cost, scope, quality, risk, and resources.
- Excellent understanding of business domain, operating environment, constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams for high performance.
Soft Skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change across teams.
Mastery of Agile methodology is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed, cross-country team
