Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented Head of Sales with a proven track record of success in the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with over 8 years of experience, possessing a deep understanding of the fashion market, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market share.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, targeting specific customer segments and distribution channels.
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, and fostering a high-performance culture. Set clear performance goals and expectations, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Revenue Generation & Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and optimizing sales processes. Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Negotiate contracts and manage customer accounts.
- Market Analysis & Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Stay informed about industry developments and customer preferences.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and provide regular reports to the management. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company and its products at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sales leadership within the fashion industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the fashion market, including trends, customer segments, and distribution channels.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
