- Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to develop commercially viable designs for the value retail market.
- Translate international trends into value retail-friendly designs suitable for Indian consumers.
- Track competitor brands and marketplace
- and Flipkart to identify best sellers and pricing strategies.
- Create seasonal concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and product designs aligned with brand direction.
- Develop multiple design options within defined price points ensuring trend relevance & cost efficiency.
- Prepare tech packs and coordinate with sampling, sourcing, and merchandising teams for product development.
- Review proto and fit samples, providing design corrections to achieve the desired look and fit.
- Collaborate with graphic designers for prints and surface developments.
- Track sales performance and best sellers to guide future design decisions
Experience : 3 to 6 Years
Education : Minimum qualification – Graduation & Post graduation in fashion designing, preferably from Top fashion institute.
Key Skills and Attributes:
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw etc
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of work
• Candidates from Retail/Ecommerce industry preferred
