About the Role

We're looking for a Fashion Designer who is passionate about fashion, design, creativity, innovation, and mentoring aspiring designers.

At Skillinabox, this role goes beyond designing—you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our fashion learning ecosystem. As a key member of our growing team, you'll play an important role in creating engaging learning experiences, developing fashion content, mentoring learners, conducting research, and contributing to creative and product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging, informative content for learners, including lessons, tutorials, and resources in the field of fashion.
• Personal Training Sessions (Online): Provide one-on-one or group training sessions for learners remotely, guiding them through relevant fashion topics and skills.
• Reports and Analysis: Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of learners and provide data-driven insights to improve the learning experience.
• Mentoring and Counselling: Offer personal guidance and support to learners in the fashion field, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
• Team Creation: Build and manage smaller remote teams across different states, assisting with the hiring and onboarding process to ensure the teams are cohesive and aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Fashion Design, Product Development, Fashion Education, or a related field.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Freshers with an exceptional portfolio and strong communication skills are welcome.
• A portfolio showcasing fashion design projects is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of fashion design principles, trends, textiles, garment construction, and design development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other relevant design software is preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for fashion, education, creativity, and hands-on learning.
