Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fashion Designer located in Tiruppur. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing innovative garment collections, ensuring trends align with company objectives and market demands. Daily responsibilities include developing design sketches, creating prototypes, selecting fabrics, collaborating with production teams, and ensuring outstanding garment quality and fittings. The role also involves working closely with the embroidery and textile teams to develop unique designs and patterns that align with client needs and brand aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Fashion Design, with proven experience in designing quality garment collections.
• Knowledge of textiles and fabric types, including sustainable blends and advanced materials.
• Competence in creating and analyzing garment fittings to ensure a perfect fit and finish.
• Experience or familiarity with embroidery design and techniques is highly advantageous.
• Creativity, technical aptitude, and an eye for detail in fashion and design trends.
• Proficiency with design software and tools, such as Adobe Illustrator or other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to collaborate with production teams.
• A bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the textile and garment industry and knowledge of advanced machinery is a plus.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
