Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Fashion Designer at Roj Leather Exports. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and market-relevant designs for leather garments, integrating fashion trends with the company's high standards of craftsmanship. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing and sketching designs, selecting textiles and materials, ensuring proper garment fitting, and collaborating with other team members to develop the final products. The role will also involve incorporating embroidery and other decorative elements to enhance product appeal.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Fashion Design and a solid understanding of the fashion industry
• Knowledge of leather and expertise in integrating materials suited for leather garments
• Proficiency in Fitting and tailoring techniques to ensure high-quality design execution
• Experience with Embroidery and the ability to incorporate intricate details into designs
• Creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and an ability to translate concepts into appealing designs
• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in leather garment design is advantageous.
• A degree in Leather Design.
