About the role

We are looking for a Fashion Designer - NPD Specialist (Woven & Denim) to support

end-to-end product development across woven apparel and denim categories.

This role focuses on silhouette research, fabric & wash development, sampling coordination,

and fit improvements, ensuring products meet aesthetic, comfort, and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Support product development from concept to final sample approval

Conduct trend & market research for silhouettes, fabrics, and denim washes

Coordinate fabric, weave & trim selection (plain, twill, crepe, dobby; rigid & stretch

denim)

Support fabric sourcing, washing & finishing stages

Create & maintain basic CADs, line sheets & tech packs

Manage sampling timelines, fit trials, wash approvals & revisions

Visit fabric mills, denim laundries & vendors to track sample progress

Support costing discussions (GSM/oz, washes, consumption inputs)

Work closely with merchandising, sourcing & production teams

Maintain product documentation, fabric & wash libraries, and trackers

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology / Textile Design / Apparel Design (NID /

NIFT graduates preferred)

36 years experience in woven womenswear, kids wear, or denim development

Working knowledge of woven constructions, denim weights & wash techniques

Familiar with fit development, pattern coordination & wash hand-feel evaluation

Comfortable creating CADs, tech packs & handling sample reviews

Hands-on experience with fabric mills, denim laundries & sampling units
