Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Kolkata for a Fashion Designer (Kidswear). Responsibilities include creating innovative design concepts, developing patterns, and preparing manual sample as part of the design process. The Fashion Designer will ensure proper fitting and be involved in the entire lifecycle of product development, from conceptualization to production. Collaboration with production teams and staying updated on industry trends will also be essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Fashion Design and a strong sense of creativity and innovation
- Proficiency in working with Textiles and Hosiery
- Knowledge of printing, embroidery and stitching
- Proficiency in Corel Draw/Photoshop/Illustrator
- Knowledge of garment Fitting and practical design applications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design
- Familiarity with current fashion trends and industry requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
