Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer based in New Delhi. The Fashion Designer will conceptualize, design, and create unique fashion pieces inspired by the rich traditions of Kashmiri craftsmanship. Responsibilities include selecting textiles, working with artisans to incorporate embroidery techniques, ensuring fittings meet high-quality international standards, and aligning designs with the brand's ethos of sustainable and ethical fashion practices. Collaboration with diverse teams to deliver exceptional collections is essential to this role.

You'll be working closely with me on:

Concept development

Moodboards, sketches & collection planning

Embroidery + textile design

Working with artisans

Sampling & production coordination

Bringing our upcoming collections to life

Qualifications

• Fashion Design expertise with a strong understanding of the fashion industry and design processes
• Experience with Embroidery and Textiles, including traditional techniques and innovative applications
• Skills in Fitting and garment development to ensure high-quality craftsmanship
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for sustainable and culturally inspired fashion
• Ability to work collaboratively with artisans and cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in designing or working with handcrafted or artisanal products
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Fashion Design
