Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for a Fashion Designer Junior with 1 to 3 years of experience. The role involves assisting in the design and development of fashion collections, focusing on originality, creativity, and market trends. Key responsibilities will include creating sketches, working with textiles, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring proper fitting and quality of the final product. The designer will collaborate with senior designers, contribute to embroidery and fabric selection, and ensure the designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Fashion Design, including creativity and awareness of market trends.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of Textiles and Embroidery techniques.
- Skills in Fitting and garment construction to ensure quality design and functionality.
- Experience with fashion-related tasks, a team-oriented mindset, and a proactive attitude.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively on-site and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience in sustainable or ethical fashion practices is a plus.
