Job Title: Fashion Designer Menswear Collection

Job Location: Mallick Bazar, Kolkata

Working Hours: 11:00 AM 8:00 PM

Salary: Up to 5 LPA (Negotiable based on experience and skills)

Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer specializing in menswear collections . The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of men's fashion trends, fabrics, garment construction, and design development. The candidate will be responsible for creating innovative designs that align with the brand's identity and target customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new menswear collections based on current fashion trends and market demand.
• Create sketches, mood boards, design concepts, and technical specifications.
• Select suitable fabrics, colors, prints, trims, and accessories for different collections.
• Develop designs for men's shirts, trousers, T-shirts, jackets, ethnic wear, and other apparel as required.
• Coordinate with sampling teams, pattern makers, merchandisers, and production teams.
• Monitor sample development, fittings, garment construction, and finishing quality.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitors collections and emerging fashion trends.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, customer preferences, and production requirements.
• Manage multiple design projects and ensure timely completion of collections.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of menswear design, garment construction, and fabric selection.
• Proficiency in fashion illustration and design development.
• Knowledge of pattern making, garment fitting, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW is preferred.
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sampling and production teams.
  
  

Qualification Experience

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in menswear collection design is preferred.
• Candidates with a strong portfolio demonstrating menswear designs will be given preference.
