Role Title: Fashion Designer
About The Opportunity
Operating in the Fashion & Apparel design sector, this role supports seasonal ready-to-wear and lifestyle collections intended for both domestic and export markets. You will join a product-focused design team that turns trend intelligence into commercially viable garmentsdriving concept-to-sample execution, fit excellence, and production readiness on-site in India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design seasonal collections: develop concepts, moodboards, colorways, and detailed sketches that align with merchandising briefs and sales targets.
- Create technical flats and comprehensive tech packs to communicate fit, construction, materials, and trim specifications to vendors.
- Lead prototype development: draft patterns, drape samples, run fit sessions, and refine garments to achieve target fit and finish.
- Source fabrics and trims: evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, minimums, and lead times; manage sample approvals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, production, and quality teams to ensure on-time sample sign-offs and production handover.
- Maintain trend research and competitive analysis: present seasonal direction and translate trends into commercially viable product assortments.

Qualifications
- Proven portfolio of seasonal apparel collections and tech packs demonstrating commercial product development (shareable portfolio required).
- 3+ years of hands-on apparel design/product development experience in ready-to-wear, mass-market, or private-label manufacturing (on-site in India).
- Strong understanding of garment costing, construction tolerances, and production processes.
