Fashion Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating innovative designs that align with our brand identity and market trends. You will work closely with our design team to develop sketches, prototypes, and samples that meet the needs of our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Research current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands.

2.Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop new design concepts.

3.Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings of proposed designs.

4.Select fabrics, trims, and materials that meet quality standards and budget requirements.

5.Oversee the entire design process from concept development to final product.

6.Work with patternmakers and sample makers to produce prototypes and samples.

7.Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and design aesthetics.

8.Stay updated on emerging fashion trends, techniques, and technologies.

9.Communicate regularly with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to coordinate production schedules and resolve any design-related issues.

10.Participate in fashion shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to showcase our designs and brand.

Skills and Qualifications:

a)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.

b)Minimum of 4 years experience in luxury couture space.

c) Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role.

d)Strong creative and conceptual skills with a keen eye for detail.

e)Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.

f)Excellent knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction techniques.

g)Flexibility to adapt to changing design trends and consumer preferences.
