Role Description
The Fashion Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based at Srikriti's stores in Pitampura, New Delhi. In this role, the consultant provides styling advice to customers, helping them select suitable ethnic wear based on body type, occasion, and personal preferences. Daily tasks include greeting customers, understanding their needs, explaining product features, and suggesting coordinated outfits and accessories. The Fashion Consultant also supports visual merchandising, maintains store presentation, and assists with inventory checks and basic sales processes such as billing and exchanges. Collaborative work with other team members is expected to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and fashion-forward shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Strong product knowledge in ethnic wear, fabrics, fits, and current fashion trends.
- Proven fashion consulting and styling abilities, with an eye for color, silhouette, and occasion-appropriate outfits.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse customers and team members.
- Customer service and sales skills, including relationship-building, upselling, and handling queries or concerns professionally.
- Attention to detail in visual merchandising and overall store presentation.
- Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends and peak festive seasons as required.
- Previous retail or fashion boutique experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy for billing and inventory systems; proficiency in local languages and English is an advantage.
