Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Farm Manager to oversee our advanced aquaculture operations in Ujina, Haryana. This is a full-time, on-site role, located in Ujina, Haryana (District-Nuh), which is pivotal in managing the end-to-end production of Sea Bass, Shrimp, Rohu, and Scampi using cutting-edge technology, specifically In-Pond Raceway Systems (IPRS) and Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise in intensive fish farming, biological monitoring, and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle, from fingerling stocking and grading to harvesting and post-harvest logistics.
  • System Oversight: Manage and optimise the daily operations of IPRS and RAS, ensuring peak efficiency of filtration, aeration, and water circulation components.
  • Water Quality Monitoring: Conduct rigorous daily testing of water parameters (DO, pH, Ammonia, Nitrates, Temperature) and implement immediate corrective actions to maintain an optimal environment.
  • Biosecurity & Health: Implement strict biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks. Diagnose fish health issues and manage feeding regimes to maximise Growth Rate (SGR) and minimise Food Conversion Ratio (FCR).
  • Inventory & Data Logging: Maintain meticulous records of feed consumption, growth charts, mortality rates, and chemical usage. Manage procurement of farm inputs.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train on-site farm labourers and technicians, ensuring a culture of safety and precision.
  • Maintenance: Coordinate routine and emergency repairs for pumps, blowers, sensors, and backup power systems to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
