The Opportunity:

Role requires working on Costing, Financial Planning Analysis and Factory Controlling activitiesto different Units of Hitachi Energy located across the Globe supporting the factory/business controllers handling the respective Business Units to ensure the business unit/Organization can achieve all the KPI/business targets.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Perform analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast.
  • Review of Ordersreceived,and Orders received Gross Marginand monthly reporting.
  • Reconciliation of Order backlog and Order backlog Gross Margin.
  • Business partnering with LocalFactory/Business/Hub Controllersto understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance andidentifytrends propose value add.
  • Analysis of overhead under / over absorptionindicatingroot cause.
  • Result Analysis - Revenue Recognition- Good understanding of Revenue recognition principles and industry practices Point in time andOverperiod.Good understanding of RAkeyslogic in S4 HANA.
  • Hands-onexperience in COPA - KE24/KE30 - Product wise andCustomer-wiseProfitability Analysis.
  • Review the monthly financial performance in the Income Statement against Budgets/Forecast andsupport inmonthly reviews before month closing.
  • Balance sheet analysis- proactivelyidentifythe movements between different periods with the reasonsofdeviationand advise controllers for necessary action.
  • Perform monthly MIS/Corporate Reporting as per thecorporatecalendar.
  • Perform activities related to Internal controls and SOX audit
  • Comparison of monthly/quarterly MIS data with differentbenchmarksand giving comments/remarks
  • Capital Expenditure budget and actual spent tracking and analysis on monthly basis
  • Analysis of inventories, NWC (Net Working Capital) - comparison over periods with reasons of movement.
  • Knowledge in StandardCosting- MadeToOrder/ MadetoStock Scenario
  • Cashflow - Analysis of Cashinand Cash Out Direct Method and Indirect method - Gapanalysis between.
  • Support preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning,budgeting,and forecasting.
  • Support for Statutory audit and internal audit - Preparation of audit schedules.
  • Validate accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
  • Any other Ad Hoc work/assignment/job given, based on urgency and requirement.
  • Optimizeown performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions,eliminatingduplications, coordinatinginformation requirements.
  • Proactively findareas for process / report standardization across different countries,divisions,and business units.
  • Adhering to the Controlling capability CentersKPIs to ensure continuous improvement andmaintainservice quality.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Should have bachelor's degree in accounting with CMA/ CA / MBA
  • Must have 6+years experiencein Financial Planning and Analysis,with manufacturing experience background preferableand Prior experience in controlling COE setup is preferred.
  • Strong analytical andcritical thinking skillswithindependentproblem-solvingcapability.
  • Effective communication& presentationskills.
  • Hands-onexperience in SAP FICOincludingCO-PAand Understanding on other modules like SD, PP, MM, PSMTO,MTSand ETO architypes.
  • ProficiencyinMS Officetools (Excel,PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Initiative-takingwith a strong commitment to qualityadhering to strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
