What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our co-working spaces and ensure that they are well-maintained, efficiently run, and offer exceptional experience to all our members and tenants. You're the kind of person who notices the little things, thinks two steps ahead, and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
What you'll be doing
Facility Operations & Maintainance: Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring smooth functioning of all amenities. Conduct regular facility checks and audits to maintain high operational standards. Walk the floor regularly and proactively identify issues before they escalate.
Team Supervision & People Management: Ensure teams follow defined SOPs and deliver consistent service quality.
Vendor & Contract Management: Manage vendors, AMC contracts, and third-party service providers. Ensure SLAs are met and service issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with IT, security, admin, and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues swiftly.
Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and statutory compliance standards are strictly followed. Implement and monitor safety protocols across the facility.
Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness: Ensure strict adherence to fire safety protocols through regular drills, equipment inspections, and compliance with statutory and local fire authority norms.
Financial & Utility Management: Prepare and manage facility budgets. Track expenses and monitor utility consumption to optimise costs.
Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain asset inventories and oversee procurement of supplies as required. Ensure assets are well-maintained and utilised efficiently.
VIP & Dignitary Handling: Coordinate closely with security teams to ensure discreet, end-to-end safety arrangements for VIP delegates. Oversee facility readiness prior to arrival, including access control, cleanliness, signage, and ambience.
What you need to bring to the table
1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in facilities or operations management (coworking/hospitality/real estate experience preferred).
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
5. Proficient in MS Office, facility management software/tools, and vendor coordination.
6. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and take ownership.
7. The candidate must be proactive, hands-on, and stay on top of all operational matters, with working knowledge of HVAC systems, generator backups, lighting, cleanliness standards, elevators/lifts, and more.
