Role:-
We are looking for a proactive and execution-driven Facilities Manager to oversee end-to-end operations across multiple student hostels, mess & transport facilities. The role requires strong vendor management, budgeting expertise, team leadership, and a high ownership mindset to ensure seamless operations and excellent student experience.


Key Responsibilities:-

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple student hostels, mess facilities, and transport services.
  • Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and infrastructure maintenance across all properties.
  • Manage and coordinate vendors (Food, transport, maintenance); define and track SLAs and drive timely escalations.
  • Source and onboard new vendors; negotiate contracts to optimize cost and quality.
  • Scout and evaluate new hostel locations; support setup, readiness, and operational launch.
  • Build, train, and manage on-ground operations teams
  • Own budgeting and cost control across properties; monitor expenses and drive efficiency.
  • Act as the escalation point for student concerns; ensure prompt resolution
  • Establish and streamline SOPs, dashboards, and reporting systems to track operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, local regulations, and campus policies.
  • Drive scalability by designing standardized processes, and systems that enable seamless expansion across new hostels and locations

Key Requirements:-

  • Proven experience in hostel management, facilities management, campus operations, F&B managers or multi-site property operations.
  • Strong experience managing vendors across housekeeping, mess/canteen, security, and transport.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage operations teams.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiations.
  • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, stakeholder management, and escalation-handling skills.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to track SLAs and ensure accountability.
  • Experience working with student communities or residential campuses is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred
