Facility Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of facility buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Manage all aspects of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
• Ensure the facility complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Coordinate and manage facility services such as janitorial, waste management, and landscaping.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to avoid equipment failure and unplanned downtime.
• Maintain facility-related records, including maintenance schedules, compliance documentation, and repair logs.
• Supervise and manage facility staff, including custodians, technicians, and contractors.
• Prepare and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources for maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for facility repairs, upgrades, and services.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure that facilities are well-maintained and operational.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
• Implement energy efficiency programs and initiatives to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
