Job Description

 Responsibilities

Housekeeping Operations Management

  • Conduct regular rounds of shop floors and warehouses to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure surfaces, areas, and facility spaces are maintained to required standards.
  • Monitor staff performance, attendance, and grooming standards.
  • Brief housekeeping teams at the end of each shift regarding priorities and tasks.
  • Ensure proper deployment of staff based on schedules and workload planning.

Supervision & Team Coordination

  • Assist in training and development of housekeeping staff.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth shift operations.
  • Ensure discipline, proper attire, and professional behavior of housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct daily muster and communicate operational priorities.

Vendor & Resource Management

  • Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, canteen, cleaning chemicals, and consumables.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Track BGV (Background Verification) and skill assessment of support staff.
  • Ensure timely supply of consumables and manage stock levels effectively.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping reports.
  • Ensure completion of checklists as per defined frequency and format.
  • Maintain equipment service records and ensure functionality of housekeeping tools.
  • Track consumption reports and update bi-monthly records.
  • Maintain shift registers and operational logs.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Address client and plant head complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collect daily employee feedback and take corrective actions.
  • Communicate with client leadership on housekeeping priorities and updates.
  • Ensure service quality meets client expectations consistently.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Adhere to procurement procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve housekeeping policies and procedures for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and facility standards.

Operational Support Activities

  • Monitor canteen, kitchen equipment servicing, and maintenance.
  • Oversee scrap clearing and waste management coordination.
  • Support emergency service escalation and ticket resolution (DISS tool).
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of service delivery.
