Role: Facilitator - UI/UX

Location: Remote (India)

Position Overview

The Facilitator - UI/UX plays a crucial role within the learning experience team by delivering high-quality educational support to students across the UI/UX program. The Facilitator will leverage strong subject expertise and hands-on design experience to support core activities such as grading, live chat mentoring, on-demand video support, live lesson facilitation, and quality assurance.

This role requires strong learner empathy, structured feedback capability, and the ability to simplify complex UI/UX concepts for beginner and intermediate learners. The Facilitator will actively contribute to improving student outcomes through engagement initiatives, Q&A sessions, and collaboration with mentors and internal stakeholders.

Additionally, the Facilitator will support curriculum improvement efforts, identify learner gaps, and help strengthen overall delivery quality across the program.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 3+ years of industry experience in UI/UX Design

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking

  • Prior EdTech / mentoring / teaching experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills for delivering sessions to US-based learners

  • Experience conducting sessions using Zoom or similar platforms

  • Strong grasp of UI/UX tools and workflows

  • Ability to provide structured and actionable feedback to learners

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform all core activities (Grading, Livechat, QA, Live Lessons & Weekly Video Tutoring) within defined guidelines and maintain a QA score of 80% and above

  • Deliver high-quality learner feedback aligned with program rubrics

  • Review mentor session content as per latest processes and guidelines

  • Provide on-demand video support for learner queries

  • Conduct Q&A sessions to improve learner understanding and engagement

  • Participate in community support initiatives to assist learners

  • Identify learner knowledge gaps and escalate insights to the Lead

  • Support and guide newly onboarded MNEs during their first 90 days

  • Handle queries from external experts (MNEs)

  • Review external learning content across difficulty levels and provide structured feedback

  • Suggest improvements to activity guidelines and internal processes

  • Contribute to curriculum enhancement recommendations

  • Support volume management insights across grading and chat workflows

  • Prepare contribution reports related to grading and live chat effectiveness

  • Proactively learn new tools, workflows, and subject updates

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Analyze graded checkpoints, chats, and video responses against QA benchmarks

  • Present recommendations supporting process and delivery improvements

  • Support curriculum alignment with evolving industry expectations

  • Assist with identifying learner experience improvement opportunities

Subject Expertise Requirements - UI/UX

UI Design Skills

  • Visual hierarchy

  • Layout systems and grids

  • Typography and color systems

Tools & Platforms

Hands-on experience in:

  • Figma

  • Adobe XD (good to have)

  • Sketch (good to have)

  • Miro / FigJam (collaboration tools)

  • Basic usability testing tools

Research & Testing

  • Usability testing frameworks

  • Heuristic evaluation

  • A/B testing fundamentals

  • User feedback interpretation

Bonus Skills (Preferred)

  • Design systems exposure

  • Mobile-first design workflows

  • Interaction design basics

  • Accessibility standards (WCAG basics)

  • Developer handoff workflows

Education

  • B.Des / M.Des / B.Tech / BSc / MSc or equivalent qualification

  • Certification in UI/UX Design / Product Design / Interaction Design preferred

  • Minimum 15 years of full-time education
