Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Pitch and produce compelling stories for a social-first audience
  • Write sharp, engaging video scripts under tight deadlines

  • Shoot videos when required
  • Appear on camera for face-led videos and voiceovers
  • Interview newsmakers and subjects relevant to young audiences
  • Adapt and translate stories with strong editorial judgment
  • Ensure accuracy through rigorous fact-checking and verification
  • Stay on top of social media trends and storytelling formats

Requirement:

  • 13 years of experience in journalism or digital media
  • Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication (preferred)
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Comfortable being on camera
  • Solid understanding of Indian politics, culture, and current affairs
  • Proven ability to deliver video scripts on deadline
  • Sharp editorial instincts and attention to detail
  • Understanding of ethical digital journalism practices
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • A team player who thrives in fast-paced, internet-driven environments
  • Self-starter with a strong passion for visual storytelling
