Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fabricator and Fitter located in Kochi. The responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, cutting and welding steel components, assembling metal frameworks, conducting quality checks, and performing maintenance and repairs on fabricated structures. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety standards and guidelines during all operations.
Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in fabrication, welding, and fitting processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Basic understanding of material handling and operating fabrication tools and machinery
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial environments
- Good teamwork, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require strength and precision
- Prior experience as a fabricator or fitter is preferred
- Relevant vocational certification in welding or fabrication is an advantage
