Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fabric Merchandiser located in Ahmedabad. The Fabric Merchandiser will oversee customer communication, manage product inquiries, and handle orders from initiation to final delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal team like designing & production, maintaining client relationships, tracking the production pipeline and maintaining TNA for ensuring timely deliveries.
The role will also involve assisting in sales strategy development, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with customers to meet their fabric and design requirements.
Qualofications
- Strong knowledge of woven fabric and processing/production techniques.
- Must have handled domestic brands/RMG segments
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for maintaining relationships and managing inquiries
- Proficiency in Sales, Retail, and Marketing to contribute to business growth and meet client needs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Business, or a related field is desirable
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
