OverviewR&D External Innovation Data Analyst
ResponsibilitiesData Collection, Entry & Management
- Collect and manage data for new opportunities from our technology scouts, internal stakeholders and external partner ecosystem.
- Perform data input into the Leads Management System (Microsoft Dynamics Customer-Relationship Management Database).
- Assist in maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement of our data systems.
- Ensure that quality assurance standards for data entry are adhered to by database users.
- The candidate must be detail-oriented and be able to manage several commitments simultaneously and meet stringent deadlines.
LMS / CRM Platform Support
- Customize and configure the LMS platform implement LMS workflows, dashboards, and reports to streamline processes and improve data visibility.
- Manage inquiries and requests for assistance for the Leads Management System in a timely manner.
- Take responsibility for training and roll-out of this key information management tool to key functional areas in R&D.
- Good experience with various LMS, CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot/Microsoft Dynamics) data collection and management.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze LMS and other data to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to external innovation activities.
- Use MS Suite (Power Tools) for data analysis and reporting.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance the functionality and user experience of LMS and other software systems.
- Develop and implement best practices for data entry, maintenance, and management within the LMS and other software systems.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D Stakeholders, IT and with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless data exchange, integration and communication.
- The ability to communicate well and develop positive working relationships with internal partners and colleagues in a team environment is essential, as is the ability to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
QualificationsA Bachelor's degree, preferably related to science or IT, is required for this position.
