Job Title: Sales Manager Solar Pumping Business (Export / International Sales)

Location: Bangalore, India (with international travel as required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute export sales strategies for solar pumping systems in international markets
  • including Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia, etc.
  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with international distributors, EPC companies, and government agencies.
  • Achieve monthly and annual export sales targets with profitable growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals for export.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and documentation teams for smooth order execution and shipment.
  • Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual meetings to promote products internationally.
  • Manage compliance with export documentation, LC handling, INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and payment terms.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to adapt and innovate products meeting international market requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business / International Trade; MBA preferred.
  • 510 years of experience in international sales, preferably in solar pumps, renewable energy, or electrical products.
  • Strong network with a proven track record in export business development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with export documentation, payment terms, and international logistics.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as necessary.
