Job Title: Sales Manager Solar Pumping Business (Export / International Sales)
Location: Bangalore, India (with international travel as required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute export sales strategies for solar pumping systems in international markets
- including Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia, etc.
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with international distributors, EPC companies, and government agencies.
- Achieve monthly and annual export sales targets with profitable growth.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals for export.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and documentation teams for smooth order execution and shipment.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual meetings to promote products internationally.
- Manage compliance with export documentation, LC handling, INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and payment terms.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management.
- Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to adapt and innovate products meeting international market requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business / International Trade; MBA preferred.
- 510 years of experience in international sales, preferably in solar pumps, renewable energy, or electrical products.
- Strong network with a proven track record in export business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with export documentation, payment terms, and international logistics.
- Willingness to travel internationally as necessary.
