EXPORT MANAGER – AFRICA

S-CCI India Pvt. Ltd. | Automotive Fluids & Lubricants

S-CCI India Pvt. Ltd., an Indo-Japanese manufacturer of automotive fluids and lubricants, is expanding its international business and is looking for an experienced Export Manager to develop markets across Africa.

Our focus will be on brake fluids, coolants/antifreeze, automotive lubricants and related automotive fluids. These are highly competitive and price-sensitive products, and we are particularly interested in developing countries that continue to depend substantially on imports.

We are looking for a hands-on business developer with genuine experience in African markets and an understanding of local importers, distributors, private-label buyers and automotive aftermarket channels.

The role will involve:

• Identifying high-potential import-dependent markets across Africa
• Appointing and developing importers and distributors
• Developing private-label and other institutional business opportunities
• Closely tracking competing products, landed prices and market requirements
• Creating country-specific pricing and market-entry strategies
• Personally developing and maintaining major customer relationships
• Extensive travel across the assigned territory
• Responsibility for sales development, collections and sustainable business growth

Candidate profile:

• Approximately 7–12 years of international sales/export experience
• Substantial hands-on experience in African markets
• Preference for direct experience in coolants/antifreeze, brake fluids, lubricants, automotive chemicals or similar price-sensitive products
• An existing network among importers/distributors will be a significant advantage
• Proven ability to open new countries and develop customers from the ground up
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel extensively
