Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Export Engineer to manage and expand international trade operations. The role requires technical expertise combined with export management skills to ensure seamless coordination between principals, international clients, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee export operations, documentation, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Coordinate with global principals and international clients to ensure timely order processing, shipment, and delivery.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients for Mining, Metallurgy, Railways, Oil & Gas, and Defence sectors.
- Identify and develop new export opportunities and markets.
- Liaise with logistics providers, customs, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth clearance and transportation of goods.
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals for international clients.
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions, contracts, and after-sales support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality standards and timely execution of export projects.
- Monitor global market trends, competitor activities, and trade policies to provide strategic inputs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical, or related field). MBA/PGDM in International Business is a plus.
- 3–7 years of experience in export management, preferably in industrial sectors like Mining, Oil & Gas, Railways, or Defence.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and Incoterms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Technical aptitude with ability to explain complex equipment and solutions to international clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
