Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Magento Developer to join our team and play a key role in building, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites on the Magento platform. You will collaborate with designers, front-end developers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing online stores that provide an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Create and customize Magento themes, templates, and modules to meet business and user experience requirements.
Build and integrate custom extensions and functionality into Magento.
Manage and optimize Magento databases for efficiency, speed, and reliability.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, code inefficiencies, and technical issues.
Integrate third-party systems, payment gateways, shipping providers, and APIs with Magento.
Apply patches, perform version upgrades, and ensure Magento platforms/extensions are up to date.
Implement best practices in security to protect customer data and prevent vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with project goals.
Write and maintain detailed technical documentation for code, customizations, and configurations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Magento Developer with a strong portfolio of e-commerce projects.
In-depth knowledge of Magento architecture, customization, and extension/module development.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development practices.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of caching, performance optimization, and SEO best practices for e-commerce.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
