Job Title: Internal Mid-Level Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Business Analyst

Overview of the Role

This is a critical, internal mid-level position focused on the rapidly growing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. The IGA Business Analyst will serve as the crucial link between market stakeholders and the Level 3 development team. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and efficiency of changes, reducing incidents, and aligning all IGA implementations with market stakeholder needs and quality standards. The core focus will be on managing the high volume of change and enhancement requests while ensuring IGA implementations are robust and secure.-----Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement and Requirement Gathering

Engage directly with market stakeholders to thoroughly understand their needs and challenges related to IGA processes and functionalities.

Gather precise and comprehensive business requirements for new major enhancements and bug fixes within the IGA platform.

Act as a liaison between market IT stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications and vice versa.

Requirement Management and Documentation

Ensure all requirements are correctly discussed, analyzed, and thoroughly documented.

Facilitate requirement review sessions with stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment and clarity.

Maintain a clear and accessible repository of IGA requirements and related documentation.

Quality Assurance and Testing Oversight

Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.

Collaborate on the creation of comprehensive test plans and test cases for all new changes, bug fixes, and enhancement requests.

Oversee and actively participate in the testing phase to ensure thorough validation before deployment to production.

Focus on reducing the volume of major incidents by ensuring high-quality, properly tested releases.

Pro cess Improvement and Problem Resolution

Analyze existing implemented IGA workflows to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and risk reduction.

Proactively highlight to market stakeholders what is right to implement and what might lead to issues or misalignment.

Propose and advocate for best practices in IGA implementations, guiding market stakeholders on appropriate solutions.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IGA functionality and integration.

Requirement elicitation, analysis, documentation (user stories, process flows, use cases), and validation. Experience bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Identity and Access Management (IAM) Concepts

High

Deep understanding of core IAM concepts including Provisioning/Deprovisioning, Authentication, Authorization, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and Least Privilege Access.

IGA Domain Knowledge

High

Experience with Identity Lifecycle Management, Access Certifications (Recertification Campaigns), Role Management, Policy Management, and Compliance/Audit requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

Stakeholder Management & Communication

High

Ability to interact with and manage expectations of technical teams, business owners, and senior management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Process Mapping and Re-engineering

Experience in analyzing current state IGA processes and designing optimized, future-state processes to leverage SailPoint capabilities.

SailPoint Tool Specific ExperiencePrior experience in Sailpoint tool is preferred along with any other identity and access management tools.
