Description

We are seeking an Experienced Purchase Executive to join our construction company in Salem. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in procurement, knowledge and experience in construction sector will be a plus, and will be responsible for managing the purchasing process of materials and supplies essential for our projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills and a good understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee purchasing activities for construction materials and supplies and raise purchase orders.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to determine purchasing needs and timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely reordering of materials to avoid project delays.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, (IT industry candidates need not apply).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and industry standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Note: IT industry SAP candidates need not apply.

Salary: 20K per month (can be considered for higher package based on experience).

Work Location: Salem , Tamil Nadu.

Work Timing: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (Mon to Sat will be working, Sunday is fixed off)
