Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Expat Tax Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in expatriate tax services and will be responsible for assisting expatriates with their tax compliance and planning needs, ensuring they meet all legal obligations while optimizing their tax positions.

Responsibilities

Assist expatriates with their tax compliance and planning needs in India.
Prepare and review tax returns for expatriates and ensure accuracy and completeness.
Provide guidance on tax implications for expatriates regarding their employment and residency status.
Stay updated on Indian tax laws and regulations affecting expatriates.
Conduct tax research and analysis to provide strategic advice to clients.
Communicate effectively with clients to address their tax-related queries and concerns.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

2-7 years of experience in expatriate tax services or international tax compliance.
Strong understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations.
Experience with tax preparation software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA is a plus.
