Executive - Yard Operations - Container Freight Station - Mundra

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cargo and container operations across a yard spread over 50 acres, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
• Plan and optimize yard layout and operations to achieve maximum productivity with cost efficiency.
• Ensure effective cost and resource optimization aligned with organizational goals.
• Coordinate with contractors, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
• Drive customer satisfaction by delivering best-in-class operational service and responsiveness.
• Plan and allocate container handling equipment and resources for efficient yard operations.
• Monitor and manage overall yard activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and operational targets.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization across the yard.
• Conduct monthly cargo inventory and follow up on long-standing cargo with customers.
• Ensure strict compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE), and supply chain security systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic to strong knowledge of CFS/ICD yard operations and container logistics.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance in a dynamic environment.
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with yard/warehouse management systems.
• Focus on safety, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
