Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune for an Executive Sous Chef. The Executive Sous Chef will assist the Consulting Chefs in managing kitchen operations and lead the culinary team. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality standards, overseeing food preparation, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing inventory and supplies, creating and updating menus, training staff, and ensuring efficient kitchen workflow. The role involves collaborating with other departments to ensure excellent dining experiences for guests.

  • Proven expertise in food preparation, presentation, and maintaining culinary standards
  • Strong leadership, team management, and employee training skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Ability to oversee inventory, budgeting, and kitchen supply management
  • Creativity in menu planning and innovative culinary approaches
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Culinary certification or degree is preferred; prior experience in a similar leadership role is highly beneficial
