Role Overview

The Executive / Senior Executive – Procurement will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchase order management, vendor coordination, inventory planning, and ensuring timely availability of materials for business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

● Source materials, equipment, and services as per business requirements.

● Obtain quotations from suppliers and evaluate them based on quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.

● Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) in line with procurement policies.

● Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Vendor Coordination

● Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and support onboarding of new vendors.

● Track supplier performance and coordinate resolution of delivery or quality-related issues.

Inventory & Supply Chain

● Coordinate with warehouse, planning, and project teams to ensure material availability.

● Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning.

● Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.

Documentation & Compliance

● Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, contracts, and vendor documentation.

● Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and approval processes.

● Support procurement audits and reporting activities.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.

● MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is an added advantage.

● 2–4 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain. Why Join SolarSquare
