Designation: Executive - Repair and Maintenance

Job Summary
The Executive RnM supports daily operations within the Appliances & Furniture repair workshop. This role ensures timely task completion, quality workmanship, and optimal use of resources under the guidance of the RnM Head.
Key Responsibilities
- Workshop Coordination
- Assist in planning and scheduling daily repair jobs to meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate technician assignments based on skillset and job priority.
- Task Execution & Technical Support
- Perform minor to moderate repairs on appliances and furniture.
- Assist senior technicians with complex repair tasks and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Ensure adherence to repair standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct preliminary quality checks before final inspection.
- Spot-check completed jobs to ensure they meet quality criteria.
- Inventory & Spare Parts Management
- Maintain accurate records of used parts and consumables.
- Issue requisitions for urgently needed spares and track delivery.
- Assist in physical stock audits and identify discrepancies.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow workshop safety protocols, including PPE usage and equipment handling.
- Flag unsafe practices or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Participate in regular safety drills and record attendance.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Log job details, issues, and resolutions in the workshop system.
- Prepare updates or deviation reports for the RnM Manager/Head.
- Track key performance metrics such as average turnaround time.
- Team Collaboration
- Support new or junior staff with operational guidance.
- Communicate effectively with other departments like logistics or customer service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
- Diploma / Graduate in Engineering or relevant technical field.
- 1-4 years of direct hands-on experience in appliance and/or furniture repair.
- Proven ability to work in a busy workshop environment
