Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Recruiter to handle bulk hiring for our BPO / Call Centre operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to source, screen, and hire call centre agents for various domestic and international campaigns. The ideal candidate should be target-driven, well-organised, and familiar with high-volume hiring environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for BPO agents (telecallers, sales agents, customer support agents)
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, walk-ins, and local networks
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews
- Coordinate with Team Leaders and Operations to understand manpower requirements
- Schedule interviews and manage joining & onboarding process
- Maintain and update candidate database and hiring trackers
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly hiring targets
- Ensure quick turnaround time for bulk hiring requirements
- Handle follow-ups with candidates to reduce no-show and drop-out rates
- Support HR in documentation and basic compliance at the time of joining
Requirements & Skills
- Prior experience in BPO / Call Centre recruitment (mandatory)
- Strong communication skills (Hindi & English; regional language preferred)
- Ability to handle high-volume agent hiring
- Familiarity with Kolkata BPO market is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of job portals and social hiring
- Target-oriented mindset with good follow-up skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualification
- Graduate or above
- 14 years of experience in BPO recruitment (agent hiring)
