Import Operations Management

  • Organize and execute daily import yard operations efficiently.
  • Monitor daily PNR arrivals and direct-out containers.
  • Coordinate with CHA for inspection, destuffing, and direct-out activities.
  • Receive open chit and job orders from CHA for operational containers.
  • Arrange container lift-off for customs inspections.
  • Coordinate labour for destuffing activities.
  • Arrange required mechanical equipment for operational handling.

Yard & Container Management

  • Manage yard stacking and positioning of containers effectively.
  • Ensure proper handling and movement of ODC, OT, OGC, DG, and other specialized cargo.
  • Maintain accurate stock registers and reconcile with system records.
  • Affix seals after customs inspections as per procedures.

Documentation & Billing Support

  • Maintain records of seal cutting, examination updates, DG/OOG handling, and value-added services for billing purposes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation updates in the system.

Customs Coordination

  • Assist customs authorities during inspections (DRI, CSD, SIIB, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with customs procedures and regulatory requirements.

Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct HSE checklist verification.
  • Participate in and conduct toolbox talks.
  • Report unsafe acts and conditions to HSE and reporting manager.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and statutory norms within yard operations.
