Job Title: STO / STN / RTV Process Lead Central Operations
Department: Central Operations Nykaa / Supply chain
Role Objective:
The STO / STN / RTV Process Lead will centrally own, monitor, and govern all Stock Transfer Orders (STO), Stock Transfer Notes (STN), and Return to Vendor (RTV) processes across warehouses and entities. The role ensures process compliance, inventory accuracy, timely closures, loss prevention, and strong cross-functional coordination, supported by robust MIS and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Central Process Ownership & Governance
Own end-to-end STO, STN, and RTV processes across all locations.
Define, implement, and control SOPs, SLAs, and approval matrices.
Ensure standardized execution across warehouses, vendors, and logistics partners.
2. STO / STN Operations Control
Monitor inter-warehouse stock movements for accuracy and timeliness.
Track creation, dispatch, receipt, and closure of STO/STN transactions.
Reconcile system vs physical inventory and resolve variances.
Drive closure of pending, aging, or mismatch cases.
3. RTV Process Management
Own end-to-end Return to Vendor (RTV) lifecycle:
RTV creation and approvals
Physical dispatch and vendor acknowledgment
GRN closure and financial reconciliation
Coordinate with vendors, warehouses, logistics, and finance teams for timely RTV closure.
Track recoveries, credits, and write-offs related to RTV.
4. Loss Control & Exception Management
Identify shortages, damages, transit losses, and non-receipts.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Escalate high-value or aging discrepancies to leadership.
5. Data, MIS & Reporting
Own centralized MIS and dashboards for:
STO/STN aging
RTV status and recoveries
Inventory variance and loss analysis
Prepare strong PowerPoint presentations for:
Weekly operational reviews
Monthly management reviews
Audit and compliance discussions
6. Stakeholder Coordination
Act as central SPOC for STO/STN/RTV processes.
Drive regular follow-ups with:
Warehouse teams
Logistics & line-haul teams
Vendors and courier partners
Finance & audit teams
Ensure timely closures and SLA adherence.
7. Audit, Compliance & Process Improvement
Support internal and external audits related to inventory movements.
Ensure documentation, approvals, and compliance readiness.
Identify automation and system enhancement opportunities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of inventory movements and warehouse operations.
Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
Advanced MS Excel and strong PowerPoint presentation capability.
High ownership, attention to detail, and follow-up rigor.
Strong stakeholder and escalation management skills.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of experience in:
Inventory control
STO / STN / RTV operations
Supply chain or warehouse operations
Experience in central / HO-managed operations preferred.
Exposure to ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, etc.) is an advantage.
Graduate / Postgraduate in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
