Overview

Brand Ladder / Price Pack Architecture (PPA) Playbook - Team Lead is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for spearheading the development and execution of brand ladder and price pack architecture strategies. This role involves tasks related to structuring and optimizing our product and pricing portfolios, ultimately driving growth and market share.

The key responsibilities of the Brand Ladder / Price Pack Architecture (PPA) Playbook - Team Lead include:

  • Developing and leading the strategic planning process for brand ladders and price pack architectures, aligning them with our business objectives and market dynamics
  • Conducting in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities for brand positioning and price packaging that resonate with consumers and outpace competitors
  • Collaborating with product teams to optimize our product offerings in line with brand hierarchy and pricing structures, ensuring a cohesive and customer-centric product range
  • Creating / implementing pricing strategies that maximize revenue / profitability while maintaining competitiveness and value perception
  • Managing and guiding a team of analysts and associates, ensuring their work supports the overall brand ladder and PPA goals
  • Monitoring the performance of brand ladder and price pack architecture initiatives and making data-driven adjustments to improve market positioning and profitability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure brand and pricing strategies align with overall business objectives
  • Communicating strategies, performance, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for brand and pricing initiatives

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of brand ladder and price pack architecture, Mix and Promo strategy playbooks, ensuring they align with the organization's overall business goals and market dynamics
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer behavior patterns related to brand positioning and price packaging
  • Manage end to end operations, team management to ensure quality and timelines of project
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining competitiveness and value perception
  • Manage and guide a team of associates, providing direction and support in executing NRM Strategy
  • Continuously monitor the performance of brand ladder and price pack architecture initiatives and make data-driven adjustments to improve market positioning and profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure brand and pricing strategies align with overall business objectives
  • Effectively communicate strategies, performance, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for brand and pricing initiatives
  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions regarding brand and pricing strategies, ensuring that they are backed by relevant insights
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects related to brand ladder and PPA, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals
  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of reports and data related to brand ladder and price pack architecture initiatives, in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)

Qualifications

  • 7-9+ Years of proven experience working in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector with a strong understanding of business processes related to Revenue Management, including promotions, pricing, and sales
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable solutions and processes, enabling data-driven decision-making
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong command of PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications for data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and collaborate with individuals across the organization, as pricing and promotions strategies often require cross-functional teamwork
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and present findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner
