About The Opportunity

We operate in the Healthcare sector, focused on hospital operations, patient services, and revenue cycle management across clinical and outpatient settings. This on-site role supports front-office operations, billing, and insurance coordination for a fast-paced hospital environment in India.

Role: Hospital Billing & Front Office Executive

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage patient front-desk activities: patient registration, appointment scheduling, and accurate capture of demographic and insurance details.
  • Prepare and process OP/IP bills, collect payments at the cash counter, and issue receipts with correct ledger postings.
  • Submit and follow up on insurance/TPA claims, resolve rejections, and coordinate claim adjudication to ensure timely settlement.
  • Maintain billing records, perform daily cash reconciliation, and update revenue reports for the billing manager.
  • Coordinate with clinical departments to verify services, codes, and authorizations required for accurate billing (ICD/CPT where applicable).
  • Handle patient queries and billing disputes promptly, escalating complex issues to the billing supervisor for resolution.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Working knowledge of Hospital Management Systems
  • Experience with Medical Billing Software
  • Patient Registration Systems
  • Insurance Claim Processing
  • ICD-10 coding familiarity
  • MS Excel (reconciliations and basic reporting)

Preferred

  • TPA Management experience
  • Claims Reconciliation skills
  • Exposure to hospital revenue-cycle processes (OP/IP billing)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience in hospital front-desk or billing operations is preferred.
  • Customer-facing experience with good numerical accuracy for cash handling and billing.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to shift timings as needed for hospital operations.
