Job Description

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

HSE Management System Implementation
Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Support documentation, audits, and continuous improvement of HSE systems.
Track and close HSE-related actions and non-conformities.
Safety Monitoring & Compliance
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company standards.
Monitor permit-to-work systems and high-risk activities.
Incident Management
Report, investigate, and analyse incidents and near misses.
Identify root causes and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Hazard Identification & Risk Control
Facilitate hazard identification programs and ensure closure of reported hazards.
Maintain risk registers and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
Training & Awareness
Conduct HSE trainings, toolbox talks (TBTs), and awareness sessions.
Prepare and deliver impactful presentations using MS PowerPoint for safety campaigns, inductions, and management reviews.
Promote safety culture initiatives and employee engagement programs.
Environmental Management
Monitor waste management, emissions, and resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.
Emergency Preparedness
Support emergency response planning and conduct mock drills.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain HSE records, reports, and dashboards.
Prepare data-driven reports using MS Excel (charts, pivot tables, trend analysis).
Develop professional presentations and reports using MS Office tools for management review meetings.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO standards
Risk assessment and incident investigation skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong presentation and communication skills (ability to present to senior management)
Data analysis and reporting capability
Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science / Engineering / Safety / Industrial Safety
2–5 years of relevant HSE experience
NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred
