Job Description

Management Information System (MIS) & Reporting

  • Prepare and publish periodic MIS including P&L, cash flow, variance analysis, and key business metrics.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy of reports.
  • Automate and streamline reporting processes wherever possible.
  • 2. Month-End Closure
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing of books.
  • Perform validation of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
  • Review and finalize ledgers, trial balance, and ensure correctness of financial statements.
  • Work closely with AP/AR, and Operational teams for closure-related activities
  • 3. Costing & Accounting
    • Strong understanding of standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis
    • Knowledge of product costing, process costing, batch costing, job costing
    • Ability to prepare Cost Sheets, BOM (Bill of Material) analysis, and overhead allocation
    • 4. Other Responsibilities
    • Support budgeting and forecasting activities when required.
    • Drive process improvements through automation (Excel, Power BI, SAP, etc.).
    • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis based on business needs.
