Magma Engineering & MRO is our newest vertical, built to act as an extended in-house engineering arm for factories. We deliver end-to-end solutions across precision engineering, machining, fabrication, and maintenance — from design to final delivery. Backed by a robust ecosystem of in-house capabilities and captive control over advanced machining and fabrication facilities, we operate across CNC, VMC, deep-hole drilling, honing, turn-milling, heavy fabrication, and precision inspection systems.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Engineer with basic knowledge of manufacturing tools, CNC machines, and production processes. The candidate will assist in daily production activities, machine operations, quality checks, and process improvements to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in operating and monitoring CNC machines and other production equipment.

· Understand and handle basic manufacturing tools, measuring instruments, and machinery.

·  Support production planning and ensure daily targets are achieved.

·  Maintain machine efficiency and report breakdowns/issues promptly.

·  Perform quality inspections of produced components.

·  Read and understand technical drawings/blueprints.

·  Ensure proper material handling and inventory coordination.

·  Prepare & maintain inspection reports, dimensional reports, material traceability records, and quality documentation.

· Support implementation and adherence to ISO / customer-specific quality systems

· Assist senior engineers in process improvement and productivity enhancement.

· Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

· Responsible for coordinating with OSP vendors and ensuring adherence to delivery timelines. Coordinate closely with engineering, production, planning, and vendors to ensure consistent quality outcomes.

· Must be open to travel as required for site visits, client meetings, vendor coordination, project execution, training, or business needs. Flexibility to travel on short notice and for outstation assignments when necessary.

· Prepare basic production reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

· Basic knowledge of CNC operations (Turning / Milling preferred).

· Familiarity with production tools and measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, etc.

· Understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

· Ability to read engineering drawings.

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering.

· Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
