Role intent
Own theperformance visibility: funnel health, conversions, partner/source tracking, and website health signals: so the E Commerce team knows what is working, what is breaking, and what needs action.
Key responsibilities
Publish a weekly performance view: traffic, funnel movement (claim/view/buy), conversion rates, and trends
Own event and funnel tracking readiness (coordinate with Tech/agency to keep reporting accurate)
Monitor website health signals: sudden drop-offs, broken steps/pages, error spikes, speed issues, uptime indicators
Identify funnel leakage points and recommend actions (journey fixes, landing tweaks, content improvements)
Maintain partner/source tracking discipline (UTMs, landing page performance) and validate contribution by source
Review SEO/SEM readiness signals and highlight must-fix items before scaling spends
Keep insights action-led: what happened, why it happened, what to do next
What success looks like
Reliable reporting with clear definitions and consistent numbers
Faster detection of issues impacting conversions and faster escalation closure
Conversion improvements driven by insights and fixes
Clear visibility on partner/source performance and quality
Skills and profile fit
Comfortable with web analytics tools (GA4 or equivalent) and funnel thinking
Strong problem spotting and structured reporting discipline
Able to work with Tech/agency while owning the outcomes internally
Commercial mindset: focuses on conversion, journey health, and business impact
