Job Description

Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, addressing questions regarding shipments, pricing, and logistics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status, tracking, and potential delays.

Pricing:

  • Develop and manage pricing strategies for freight shipments, considering factors such as mode of transport, distance, and cargo type.
  • Obtain quotes from carriers and negotiate rates to ensure competitive pricing for clients.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and invoices for shipments.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of quotes and pricing information.

Shipment Management:

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (carriers, customs brokers, etc.) to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Prepare and process necessary shipping documents, such as bills of lading and customs declarations.
  • Monitor shipments and track their progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Overseas Communication with partners.
  • Coordination with staff members and to attend timely delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
