Executive Assistant to Managing Director

Position: Strategic Projects - MDs Office

Reporting to: Executive to MD

Grade: Level 1

Location: Mumbai

Tenure: 2 years Full Time (Contractual)

Role Purpose

The role is for a strategy consultant who will be an integral part of the MDs office at Zydus Healthcare Limited. The role involves working closely with senior management and leading strategic/high-value projects to solve challenging business problems involving strategy as well as execution.

This role will offer a unique opportunity of working 1:1 with the ZHL MD and learn about the best practices of running an organization and hold commercial responsibility.

Areas (Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities)

1. Corporate Strategy and Growth Management

• Identifying top-line and bottom-line growth opportunities and support execution
• Working with senior leadership, leading cross-functional teams to help ideate & execute high-value initiatives
• Leading & implementing strategic and business transformation (supply, distribution, GTM etc.) initiatives
• Building analytical models, streamlining company-wide KPI tracking and review mechanisms
• Working across a range of functional areas including sales, marketing, supply chain, new launches, operations

2. Public Relations

• Building & strengthening relationships with key business stakeholders within the organization and externally
• Preparing engagement plans (e.g., Joint Business Plan, Review Meetings at CH level etc.

3. Business Innovation

• Plan and initiate competent project and business strategies with a view to penetrate new geographic areas and expand existing ones

4. Others

• Closely work with cross-functional teams

Key Interactions

Internal: Business Heads MD Review Meets/Strategy Meets/Project Meetings for new business development; Finance / Audit / Cost / Legal Adhering to Compliance and working within the legal framework of the organization.

External: Agencies Work with key consultants on key projects initiated from MD's office.

Role Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates from top-tier undergrad colleges
• Candidates planning to apply for an MBA in 2028 or later

Experience (Type & Nature)

• 12 years of experience at top management consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain)
