About Research Ramp

Research Ramp is an ethical research publication support company helping researchers, universities, and academic institutions publish in high-impact Web of Science, Scopus, CNKI, and MYCITE-indexed journals.

We support clients across the UAE, China, India, South Asia, and other international markets through author-led manuscript editing, journal strategy, formatting, submission support, and publication guidance rooted in quality, confidentiality, and COPE-aligned practices.

We bridge the gap between strong research and successful publication by combining subject expertise, editorial precision, and end-to-end support.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and commercially aware Executive Assistant to the Founder who can go beyond traditional administrative support and become a key enabler of company growth.

This role is ideal for someone who can protect the Founder's time, manage priorities, coordinate communication, and support sales operations, lead follow-up, LinkedIn outreach, and B2B partnership development.

You will work closely with the Founder to ensure smooth execution across strategic initiatives, client pipeline management, and collaboration opportunities with research consultancies, universities, academic service providers, and institutional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities1) Founder's Office & Executive Support
  • Manage the Founder's calendar, meetings, and priority schedule
  • Organize inbox communications, flag important leads, and draft responses where required
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly priority trackers
  • Take meeting notes and maintain action-item follow-up records
  • Prepare meeting briefs before calls with prospects, collaborators, or institutional partners
  • Coordinate smoothly between the Founder and internal teams
2) Sales Coordination & Lead Management
  • Maintain and update CRM or lead trackers for all inbound and outbound opportunities
  • Track lead progress across stages such as new inquiry, contacted, follow-up, meeting booked, proposal sent, converted, or lost
  • Ensure timely follow-up with warm leads and pending prospects
  • Help reactivate dormant leads and maintain conversation continuity
  • Track proposal status, pending responses, and next actions
  • Prepare weekly pipeline reports and growth updates for the Founder
3) B2B Partnerships & Business Development Support
  • Research and identify potential B2B partners including research consultancies, university departments, academic service firms, mentors, and institutional contacts
  • Build prospect databases with accurate company and decision-maker information
  • Draft personalized outreach messages, follow-up emails, and LinkedIn introductions
  • Coordinate introductory meetings and maintain collaboration trackers
  • Record partnership discussions, next steps, and follow-up timelines
  • Support the Founder in building referral, white-label, institutional, and strategic partnership pipelines
4) LinkedIn & Professional Outreach Support
  • Maintain LinkedIn outreach trackers for the Founder
  • Support connection follow-ups and personalized replies
  • Identify relevant prospects from LinkedIn engagement and networking activity
  • Organize outreach lists by segment such as PhD scholars, professors, consultants, institutions, and research support firms
  • Help ensure consistency in founder-led networking and lead nurturing
5) Reporting, Process, and Execution
  • Create weekly dashboards for leads, outreach, meetings, and pending actions
  • Maintain organized records of communication, proposals, and collaborations
  • Help document SOPs and repeatable workflows for Founder's Office operations
  • Ensure execution discipline across priority projects and strategic initiatives
  • Follow through until tasks are completed, not just assigned
Required Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience in executive assistance, founder's office, business development support, sales coordination, client servicing, operations coordination, or a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Strong internet research and stakeholder-mapping ability
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Ability to handle confidential information with maturity and discretion
  • Strong coordination and time-management skills
  • Comfort with Google Workspace, Excel/Google Sheets, email tools, LinkedIn, and CRM or project tracking tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
Preferred Background
  • Experience supporting a founder, startup, consulting business, or service business
  • Exposure to B2B sales support, partnerships, lead generation, or client communication
  • Familiarity with academic publishing, research services, higher education, or consultancy ecosystems
  • Confidence in drafting professional outreach communication and follow-ups
  • Experience maintaining dashboards, reports, and trackers for business growth
Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Proactive rather than reactive
  • Polished and professional in communication
  • Commercially aware and growth-oriented
  • Comfortable working directly with a Founder
  • Confident in follow-up and coordination
  • Detail-driven and reliable
  • Able to convert strategy discussions into organized execution
  • Comfortable interacting with researchers, consultants, and institutional stakeholders
Why Join Research Ramp
  • Opportunity to work closely with the Founder in a strategic growth role
  • Exposure to international academic and research markets
  • Chance to contribute directly to business development and partnerships
  • A meaningful role in helping researchers and institutions achieve publication success ethically and effectively
  • High ownership and learning in a growing company
